Recommended Accommodations
Please ask for the "U.C. (University of California), Lawrence Hall of Science rate". Most of these hotels are in Berkeley, but you will need to drive for about 10-15 minutes to get to The Lawrence Hall of Science. Public transportation is available, but it is not the most convenient, for it requires additional time and planning.     Centrally located near campus, shops, cafes and transportation. Henry's Grille located on premises. Parking is available.

  2. Four Points Sheraton 1603 Powell St, Emeryville 510/547-7888 FAX 510/652-4426.
    A bit farther of a drive from LHS , but a nice place to stay (outdoor heated pool and spa, mini gym.) Shops nearby. Free parking.

  3. Rose Garden Inn 2740 Telegraph Ave, Berkeley 510/549-2145 FAX 510/549-1085.
    A cozy 40-room residence style accommodation with afternoon coffee and tea, breakfast and parking. Within walking distance of public transportation and restaurants.


  4. Berkeley Marina Doubletree 200 Marina Blvd., Berkeley 510/548-7920 FAX 510/548-7944. Ask for U.C. discount. Hotel overlooks the San Francisco skyline and Golden Gate Bridge. Restaurant, lounge with entertainment, health club and two indoor swimming pools. Free parking available.

Airport Shuttle Service: Bayporter Express 1-877-467-1800; www.bayporter.com. The Bay Area Rapid Transis system (BART) now runs from San Francisco International Airport and Oakland Airport to Berkeley. For information, visit www.bart.gov.

Enjoy the traditional setting of this student residence hall. It's a part of campus and is close to shops, restaurants, and public transportation.
